What we collect

When you take any Make the Leap assessment, we collect your first name, email address, and assessment answers. This is used to generate your results and, if you purchase a paid product, to create your personalized report, roadmap, or program content.

If you download a free guide or lead magnet, we collect your email address to deliver the content and add you to our email list.

If you make a purchase, payment information is processed securely by Stripe. We never store your credit card details. Stripe handles all payment data directly.

We also collect basic device and browser information through cookies and analytics tools. See the Analytics & Tracking section below for details.

How we use your data

• To generate your assessment results, resistance patterns, Work DNA type, and Money DNA type
• To create your personalized Leap Report, Career Brief, Money Playbook, Freedom Brief, Roadmap, or other paid product (if purchased)
• To power your AI career coach or AI money coach conversations (if purchased or during free preview)
• To generate personalized audio content for the 7-Day Audio Program (if purchased)
• To deliver your program content in the portal (if purchased)
• To send you your results, reports, and program emails (if you provide your email)
• To send follow-up emails over the course of your program (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• To deliver lead magnets and free guides you request
• To process payments through Stripe (if you make a purchase)
• To facilitate live session booking through Calendly (if you purchase a live session tier)
• To manage email subscribers and deliver lead magnets through Kit.com
• To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the assessments (anonymous analytics)
• To run advertising campaigns and measure their effectiveness through Meta Pixel
• To understand site usage through analytics tools (Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics)

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to deliver our products. Your data is only shared with these services as needed to provide the specific product or function described:

• Anthropic (Claude AI), OpenAI, Google (Gemini) - Your assessment answers are processed by AI models to generate your personalized reports, money moves, career paths, roadmaps, coaching responses, audio scripts, and program content. These providers do not use your data to train their models under our API agreements.
• ElevenLabs - For the 7-Day Audio Program, generated script text is sent to ElevenLabs for text-to-speech conversion. No personal information is included in the audio scripts.
• Stripe - Handles all payment processing. We never see or store your card details.
• Resend - Delivers transactional emails (results, reports, program emails). Your email address is shared with Resend solely for delivery.
• Calendly - If you book a live session, your name and email are shared with Calendly to schedule the appointment.
• Supabase - Hosts our database and file storage (hosted on AWS infrastructure).
• Vercel - Hosts our website and application.
• Meta (Facebook Pixel) - We use Meta Pixel to measure advertising effectiveness and build retargeting audiences. Meta Pixel tracks page views and purchase events on our site. This data is shared with Meta for ad optimization. You can opt out of Meta tracking through your Facebook ad preferences.
• Google Analytics (GA4) - We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage patterns such as page views, session duration, and traffic sources. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this data. No personally identifiable assessment answers are included in analytics data.
• Vercel Analytics - We use Vercel's built-in analytics to monitor site performance and page-level traffic. This is largely anonymized performance data.
• Kit.com (formerly ConvertKit) - If you download a free guide or submit your email through a lead magnet form, your email address is sent to Kit.com for subscriber management and email delivery.

Analytics & tracking

We use several tools to understand how people use our site and to measure advertising effectiveness:

• First-party analytics - We track anonymous usage events like page views and assessment completion rates using our own analytics system. No personally identifiable information is included.
• Google Analytics (GA4) - We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect browsing data. You can opt out using Google's browser opt-out plugin.
• Meta Pixel - We use Meta Pixel to track page views and purchase events for advertising measurement and retargeting. You can manage your Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.
• Vercel Analytics - We use Vercel's built-in analytics for site performance monitoring.

Email communications

If you provide your email, you may receive the following types of emails depending on the product you use:

• Your assessment results and any purchased products (Briefs, Playbooks, Roadmaps, Reports)
• Program-related emails over 4 weeks (Career Leap, Money Leap, Freedom Leap) or 7 days (Audio Program), including check-ins and follow-up content
• Daily audio unlock notifications (7-Day Audio Program only)
• Nurture emails with product-related content (up to 3 emails over 21 days after a free assessment)
• Lead magnet delivery and related follow-up emails

All emails include an unsubscribe link. You can opt out of any non-essential emails at any time. We do not send marketing emails or newsletters unless you explicitly opt in.

Financial data

If you take the Money Leap assessment, you may provide information about your income, debt, savings, investments, spending habits, and financial goals. This data is used solely to generate your personalized financial results, Money DNA type, money moves, and any purchased products (Playbook, Roadmap, coaching). We do not share your financial assessment data with financial institutions, credit bureaus, advertisers, or any third party other than the AI providers listed above for the purpose of generating your results.

Data retention

We reserve the right to remove free assessment results after 7 days. Paid products (Career Brief, Money Playbook, Roadmap, Blueprint, Report, and all other paid content) do not expire and are accessible indefinitely via your unique link.

Generated reports, roadmaps, and audio files are retained to allow ongoing access via your unique links.

You can request deletion of all your data at any time by contacting hello@maketheleap.co. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

All users: You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@maketheleap.co. You can unsubscribe from any emails using the unsubscribe link in each email.

European Economic Area (EEA) residents: Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing and to restrict how we use your data. To exercise these rights, contact hello@maketheleap.co. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents: Under CCPA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise your rights, contact hello@maketheleap.co.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We don't use your assessment answers for anything other than generating your personalized results, reports, and program content.
