For Partners & Institutions
Workforce mobilization is too big for any one company.
AI is reshaping work faster than any institution can handle alone. We build the clarity layer - the part that helps people understand their gifts and choose a direction - and we partner with the organizations who share the responsibility of getting the workforce ready.
Start a conversationReskilling has a missing first step
Every serious response to AI disruption - reskilling funds, upskilling platforms, workforce programs, outplacement - hits the same wall. You can offer someone a hundred courses, but if they do not know which direction fits them, the money and the effort scatter.
Programs experience it as low completion, poor placement, and quiet churn. It is really a clarity problem. People do not need more options. They need to know which one is theirs. The World Economic Forum projects 170 million new roles and 92 million displaced by 2030 - the bottleneck will not be training capacity. It will be direction.
The clarity layer
Make the Leap is the front door to career direction. In about ten minutes, our assessment reads a person's strengths, values, constraints, and circumstances and hands back a small set of real, reachable paths - in plain language, personalized by AI, grounded in a framework refined over five years.
It is the step that belongs before the course catalog, the job board, or the severance packet. Not a product bolted onto reskilling. The layer underneath it.

What a person walks away with
Not a score or a personality type - a small set of real, reachable directions in plain language. This is what your people receive instead of a severance PDF or a course catalog:

Your strengths
Directions that fit you
Operations Lead, mission-driven company
$85K - $110KYour coordination strength, pointed at work you actually believe in.
Learning & Development Facilitator
$70K - $95KGet paid to help people grow, without carrying a P&L.
Program Manager, climate or health nonprofit
$80K - $100KYour project spine, plus a mission that refills you instead of draining you.
“You're not short on ability - you're short on a direction that uses the parts of you that don't show up on a resume. These three all do.”
Illustrative example. Every real result is generated from your own answers.
Ways to work together
Employers & outplacement
Give departing and pivoting employees real direction, not a severance PDF. Strengthen internal mobility by showing people where their gifts actually fit - before they leave to find out elsewhere.
Education & reskilling
Put clarity before enrollment, so learners choose programs that fit them. The missing first step that lifts completion, satisfaction, and placement instead of leaving people to guess.
Government & workforce development
A scalable, low-cost front door for career direction across whole populations. Built to work at consumer scale and cost, and to sit alongside existing workforce-development goals.
Platform & data
Embed the assessment, co-brand it, or build on the direction data. Infrastructure other systems plug into - a clarity layer for wherever people are already making career decisions.
Why not just use what already exists?
Not a course catalog. Coursera, LinkedIn Learning, and reskilling platforms start after the direction decision is made. We are that decision.
Not a personality test. CliftonStrengths and 16Personalities hand you a label. We hand people a short list of real, reachable paths - and why each one fits.
Not a coach. A good career coach costs $150-300 an hour and does not scale to a workforce. We deliver what a strong first session would, in ten minutes, at consumer cost.
The short version: LinkedIn owns the skills graph. We are building the direction graph - what people are good at, what drains them, and where they actually want to go.
Why us
Proven with real people.
More than 16,000 people have completed the assessment, and over 1,800 have paid for deeper, personalized plans - the hardest test of whether something actually helps, and it clears it at consumer scale and cost. Taking it into institutions is the next chapter, and the one we want to build with founding partners.
An engine, not a quiz.
Personalized AI synthesis on top of a framework built over five years and refined against 16,000 real assessments. Every result is specific to the person, generated in minutes.
A one-of-a-kind dataset.
A growing, anonymized map of what capable people are good at, what they value, and where they want to go - across five life and career domains. Very few organizations are collecting direction data like this.
Career change is sensitive. We treat it that way.
People tell this assessment things they have not told their manager, their partner, or themselves. That trust is the whole product, so we protect it: individual results are consent-based, never sold, and never exposed at the individual level to anyone but the person themselves.
In a partnership, your people's data stays yours. Partners see aggregate, anonymized insight - never private profiles. Formal compliance (SOC 2, FERPA, accessibility) is on our roadmap, and we are glad to walk through where we are today.

What it does for the person
“I've taken every career quiz on the internet. This is the first one that told me something I didn't already know.”
“I spent six months paralyzed about what to do next. This gave me three clear options in 20 minutes.”
“I didn't expect it to actually know me. The pattern it identified was something I've never been able to put words to.”
“I went from 'I have no idea what to do with my life' to three paths that actually made sense.”
How a partnership starts
Intro call
We learn your population and the number you are trying to move - completion, placement, retention, mobility.
Scoped pilot
A defined cohort, success metrics agreed up front, live in about two weeks.
Readout
We measure against those metrics together - honestly, whichever way they land.
Rollout
Expand what worked, into more of your people.
We are taking on a small number of founding partners now - early, hands-on, and priced accordingly. The earlier you come in, the more you shape.
Who is building this
Make the Leap is built by Jon Miksis, who spent five years developing the framework behind it, previously built a consumer platform that reached more than 10 million people, and has now put 16,000+ people through this assessment. The full story is here.
Let's build this together
If you are responsible for helping people navigate the AI transition - an employer, an educator, a workforce or economic-development leader, an investor, or a platform - we want to hear from you. Tell us what you are trying to solve.

Questions partners ask
How does a pilot work, and how long does it take?
We agree on a defined cohort and the outcome you care about, get people through the assessment (about ten minutes each), and read the results back against those metrics. Most pilots run 60 to 90 days, live within about two weeks of a signed scope.
How do you handle our people's data?
Carefully - career change is sensitive. Individual results are treated as confidential: consent-based, never sold, and never exposed at the individual level to anyone outside the person themselves. Partners see aggregate, anonymized insight, not private profiles. In a partnership, your people's data stays yours. Formal compliance (SOC 2, FERPA, accessibility) is on our roadmap and we're happy to walk through our current posture on a call.
What does it cost?
We scope pricing per partnership, because a 200-person employer pilot and a state-wide workforce program are very different. We're taking on a small number of founding partners now, with early, preferential terms. Tell us your population and goal and we'll come back with a concrete proposal.
How does it integrate with what we already run?
As lightly or deeply as you want. It can run standalone (a simple link), be co-branded, or embed into your existing flow. For deeper builds we support SSO and an API. The assessment is designed to sit before your LMS, job board, or program - not replace it.
Is the AI accurate, or biased?
Every result is generated on top of a framework refined over five years and against 16,000+ real assessments, with guardrails we've built and pressure-tested to keep the output honest, specific, and free of the failure modes we've seen (inflated income, fabricated experience, one-size-fits-all paths). It is not a black box we point at people and hope.
What outcomes can we expect?
We won't quote you an outcome number we haven't earned with you. What we will do is agree on the metric that matters - completion, placement, retention, mobility - and measure it together in the pilot. The thesis is simple: people who get clear on direction first waste less of your training and program spend on the wrong path.
